Ma Valise de Broderie is a celebration of classic needlework with a distinctly French feel. What started as a special anniversary project is now available as a beautifully curated pattern book.

This book contains all embroidery charts from the original five-part Ma Valise de Broderie series, which was previously released as a club project. Together, these designs form a complete and harmonious embroidery set, inspired by a French sewing suitcase filled with small, elegant accessories.

Inside the book you will find patterns for the embroidered suitcase lid, as well as several smaller projects such as a pincushion, scissor fob and other coordinating accessories. Each design can be stitched on its own, yet all pieces are meant to complement each other as a cohesive whole.

This book contains patterns only. Fabrics, threads, finishing materials and the suitcase itself are not included. The designs were originally created for a suitcase measuring approximately 25 x 18 cm. If you use a different size suitcase or fabric, some adjustments to the patterns may be necessary.

Materials:

• 32ct thread linen, 25 x 140 cm / 10 x 55 inch
• 3 + 2 skeins of yarn (for the example, we used 3 x 4623 and 2 x 4102 Soie D'Alger)
• Suitcase 18 x 25 cm.
• Optional: 0.5 yard of quilting fabric for the lining of the suitcase
• Cardstock for the top and, if desired, the lining
• Quilting fabric for finishing the smalls
