Talents few or Many
Talents Few or Many is a reproduction of an anonymous English sampler that I bought at the Nashville Needlework Market. Its understated beauty, the rhythm of the letters, and the balanced composition meant I couldn't leave this piece behind. The maker of the sampler is unknown, so the sampler was given a subtle reference to skill, dedication, and craftsmanship.
In addition to the complete pattern for the large sampler, this book also contains Little Talents: a series of smaller designs (smalls) based on details and motifs from the original sampler. Perfect as a change of pace, a gift, or a small in-between project.
The book is meticulously crafted and intended for embroiderers who love classic, traditional embroidery with a historical character.
