Anniversary SAL 2026 – Celebrating 15 Years of Soed Idee!

In 2026, Soed Idee celebrates its 15th anniversary!
And of course, we’re marking the occasion with a brand-new Stitch-A-Long (SAL): a year-long project full of inspiration, created together with you.

This Anniversary SAL runs from Saturday, January 3rd to Saturday, December 19th, 2026 – for 51 weeks, you'll receive a new section of the pattern every Saturday.
Each week a new part will be published on the website – so you can stitch at your own pace and enjoy the journey.

The full design measures 99 x 1035 stitches and includes borders, alphabets, motifs, blackwork, darning patterns, and more.
All inspired by your submissions, and brought together by me into one cohesive piece.
Will you recognize your own motif?

We’re stitching on 20 cm wide natural 28ct linen band, using four beautiful shades of Sulky 12 wt. cotton.
You’re welcome to choose your own color palette, but make sure to include some green for trees, grassy areas, and flower stems.
 

Materials pre-order

We offer several materials as pre-orders (shipping in order of arrival and depending on availability) at the bottom of this page.
The linen band is currently being woven by a newly reopened factory and will take a little more time to arrive.

Would you prefer the banding in antique white instead of natural? Then order 2.20 meters (22 x 10 cm) in the webshop.
Prefer something a little finer? We also have 14-thread linen banding. A length of 1.80 meters and a width of 16 cm is sufficient.
